Plasmolifting (PRP Therapy, Platelet-Rich Plasma, Vampire Therapy, Dracula Therapy)
What is PRP Therapy?
PRP stands for “platelet-rich plasma.”
This treatment stimulates the body’s natural self-healing and regeneration abilities by injecting the patient’s own plasma enriched with platelets, which promotes new tissue formation.
It has been shown that platelets and growth factors in the blood have a significant proliferative capacity and play a crucial role in repairing damaged tissues. Therefore, PRP is widely used in the treatment of various injuries in medicine, especially in aesthetic medicine.
How is the treatment performed?
Venous blood is drawn from the patient using a syringe, then centrifuged according to a specific protocol (time and speed). Special tubes with filters are used to separate red blood cells from plasma. The resulting plasma contains platelets and growth factors and is immediately injected into the area requiring treatment.
Who is this treatment for? What conditions can be treated with PRP?
- Facial and hand rejuvenation
- Wrinkle correction
- Improvement of skin tone
- Stretch mark correction
- Scar correction (often combined with laser resurfacing)
- Vaginal rejuvenation
- Adjunct treatment for psoriasis
- Alopecia
- Diabetic trophic ulcers, varicose veins
- Eczema and other dermatoses
- Skin rehabilitation after excessive sun exposure
- Accelerates skin recovery after chemical or laser peels
How many sessions are needed?
For optimal results, 3 to 6 sessions per year are recommended, spaced 2-3 weeks apart, or as advised by the doctor.
Synergistic treatments
PRP therapy can be combined with injections of other products such as hyaluronic acid, ozone, or polynucleotides to enhance skin hydration and accelerate cellular regeneration.

PRP therapy is very safe since it uses the patient’s own blood. There are no risks associated with blood collection or injection. No additional laboratory tests are required, as the injected product is autologous.
