Laser Blepharoplasty - the essence of the method

Minimally Invasive Laser Blepharoplasty – Now Available in Chișinău. Laser blepharoplasty is performed using the Candela Nordlys laser system. Safety

The procedure is carried out with internal ocular protection, using specially designed metal contact lenses that cover the eyeball with a dome over the cornea. These lenses are inserted and removed using a suction device and are sterilized before each use. Currently, the most innovative and successful laser-based rejuvenation method involves the use of the Candela Nordlys laser. Frax 1550 nm Technology

The laser beam is absorbed by water within the dermis, creating heat up to 60°C, which significantly stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin fibers.

The Candela Nordlys laser treatment is extremely precise and does not damage the surrounding tissue. Recovery time is typically only 1–2 days.

Ideal Candidate for Candela Nordlys Laser Blepharoplasty

This procedure is indicated for patients with fine wrinkles and excess or sagging skin on the upper and/or lower eyelids. These signs often result from aging, lifestyle factors, and genetics, with skin excess sometimes appearing as early as 20–25 years of age.

The recommended number of sessions is 2–3, spaced approximately one month apart.

Contraindications

Laser blepharoplasty is contraindicated in patients with ocular conditions such as glaucoma or retinal detachment; dermatologic conditions in the periorbital region; diabetes; and cardiovascular diseases.
